Hindu Organizations Stage Protest Against Banning of Sanatan Sanstha
Mangaluru: Hindu organizations staged a protest against the banning of Sanatan Sanstha in front of the DC office here on September 4.
Protesters marched in a procession from Balmatta to DC office, shouting slogans against the rationalists’ organizations.
Addressing the protestors activist Chaitra Kundapur said, “There are false allegations on Sanatana Sanstha about the murder of rationalists. The rationalists, as well as some politicians, are demanding to ban the Sanatan Sanstha. The special investigation team is targetting the members of Hindu organizations in the Journalist Gauri murder case. There are some organizations whose intention is to target the Hindu activists”.
Chaitra Kundapur further said, “In Karnataka, more than 20 Hindus have been killed but those who are demanding the ban on Sanatan Sanstha are not raising their voice to ban the PFI organization after knowing about their involvement in the murder of Hindu activists. The PFI members were part of the SIMI organization and have now changed only the name of the organization”.
Chaitra also said, “Many of the film stars who become wealthy with people’s money are sending lakhs of funds to Pakistan. But when there are floods here they are not bothered to support the people of their own country who watch their movies and make them rich.”
Member of HJS Chandra Mogera said, “Last year when journalist Gauri Lankesh was murdered, AICC President Rahul Gandhi had also blamed the Hindu activists for their involvement. Now the Special investigation team is investigating Gauri Lankesh’s case based on Rahul’s statement. Some of the Hindu activists who are arrested by the SIT were forced to agree for the crime they had not committed. The Sanatan Sanstha is doing yeomen service but many people cannot digest the good work done by the Sanstha. We will fight for justice and not allow anyone to ban the Sanatan Sanstha.”
