HJV Leader Ratnakar Shetty Arrested in Khalil Stabbing Case
Mangaluru: The Bantwal Police have arrested the Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader in the Kalladka Ibrahim Khalil stabbing case here on July 27.
The arrested has been identified as Ratnakar Shetty from Kalladka.
On June 13, Ibrahim Khalil was stabbed by Ratnakar Shetty and four others. After stabbing they had fled from the spot. Ibrahim Khalil filed a complaint against Ratnakar Shetty and four others in the Bantwal Town Police Station.
After the incident, Ratnakar filed a counter case against Ibrahim Khalil and got admitted to a private Hospital in Puttur. On June 14 late night Ratnakar Shetty disappeared from the Adarsh Hospital. Now after One-and-half Months the Bantwal police have arrested Ratnakar Shetty from the hospital. He will be produced before the court.
