Home Office Staff Tests Positive for Coronavirus, CM Yediyurappa under Self Isolation
Bengaluru: The home office “Krishna” of the Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yediyurappa was sealed down after some of the staff in the office tested positive for coronavirus here on July 10.
According to sources, After the sanitization of the home office, Yediyurappa had returned to his office “Krishna” on July 2. But now about 10 of the staff have tested positive for the coronavirus.
The secretariat staff of the Chief Minister at the Vidhana Soudha has also tested positive for the virus.
In his press statement, CM Yediyurappa has stated that he is in good health and has decided to work from his residence “Cauvery” for some days as the staff of “Krishna” have tested positive for the virus.
The CM has also stated, “I will carry out all my office work from my official residence giving all the necessary directions for the smooth functioning of the government through video conference. I request everyone to co-operate to contain the virus from spreading further by wearing masks and maintaining social distance”.
