Beltangady: Harshita, wife Taranath G S of Netravati Jodusthana in the taluk, was alleged to have been abducted by her husband.
This was stated by her parents in a complaint filed at the town police station here.
Now the version has been denied by Harshita herself. She spoke to mediapersons here on Saturday and denied it totally. She asserted that she had gone with her husband to live with him peacefully.
She also brushed off reports that she was seeking a divorce from her husband. She joined her husband of her own accord, she added.
Prakash, a relative of hers, was present at the media meet.
