Hotelier Satish Prabhu dies in Bus – Bike collision
Udupi: An hotelier was killed, when a private bus hit his two-wheeler on NH 66, at Akashvani near Brahmavar here. on November 6.
The deceased has been identified as Satish Prabhu (46), a resident of Perdoor. He was running a hotel in Perdoor.
According to the police, the express bus was on its way from Kundapur to Udupi, Sathish Prabhu who was following the bus on his two-wheeler, at Akashvani tried to overtake the bus on the hard shoulder. Suddenly Satish’s bike came under the rear wheel of the bus and Satish was thrown to the road. Satish suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot.
A case has been registered in Brahmavar Police station.
