Hrithik Roshan looks back at ‘Dhoom 2’ days
Mumbai, Nov 25 (IANS) Actor Hrithik Roshan says working on “Dhoom 2” was an inspiring experience.
As the film completed 11 years of its existence on Friday, the actor took to Twitter to thank the entire cast and crew.
“‘Dhoom 2’ was an experience that powered and inspired a myriad of other dhooms in my life. As we celebrate 11 years of ‘Dhoom 2’, I’d like to thank the entire team that made this film possible.”
“Dhoom 2”, which released in 2006, was directed by Sanjay Gadhvi. It told the story about Mr. A, a fearless thief, who steals valuable artefacts.
Apart from Hrithik, the film also starred Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Uday Chopra.
On work front, Hrithik will next be seen in “Super 30”, a film on Anand Kumar — a mathematics genius from a modest family in Bihar. Kumar is known for his Super 30 programme to help students crack IIT entrance tests.
The film is backed by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films and directed by Vikas Bahl.

Genelia shares warm message on son’s birthday
Actress-producer Genelia Deshmukh shared a heart-warming message for her son Riaan on his third birthday on Saturday. She says he has taught her to live in the moment.
Genelia shared a photograph of herself along with Riaan on Instagram and also called him her addiction.
“Happy birthday my addiction… Riaan, you are so so little but you teach me so much… you teach me to live in the moment, to love without conditions and most importantly to be resilient no matter what,” she wrote alongside the image.
She added: “I know I’m always going to have your back but what I didn’t realise is, you always have mine too… You are my world and I love you from the bottom of my heart.”
Genelia married actor Riteish Deshmukh on February 2012. The couple’s first child, Riaan, was born in 2014. Their second son was born on June 2016.

Anupam Kher scores 11 million Twitter followers
On garnering over 11 million followers on Twitter, veteran actor Anupam Kher thanked his fans and well-wishers.
“Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for your love, warmth and appreciation. Thank you for your constructive criticism. Thank you for your smileys. You are a part of a world of my own. 11 million followers,” he tweeted.
On the film front, Anupam will next be seen in “The Accidental Prime Minister”, where he will be seen playing the role of Manmohan Singh, the economist and politician who served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014.
It is directed by Vijay Gutte. The film is based on the 2014 memoir of the same name by Sanjaya Baru.
