I will act in Tulu Movie to help poor children of Bunt community – Suniel Shetty

Udupi: “I will act in Tulu Movie soon. But you have to Promise me that you will all see that Movie. The collection from this movie will be used to help the poor children of our Bunt Community”, said Bollywood Actor Suniel Shetty.

He was speaking after participating in the Cine and Serial Artistes Sammilana as part of the Vishwa Buntara Sammilana -2018 at the Ammanni Ramanna Shetty Hall Premises Udupi on Sunday, September 9.

“Apart from me, Shilpa Shetty, Aishwarya Rai, Rohit Shetty will also join hands in this task. Let whoever be the producer of the film, I am ready to act to help in the development of my Bunt community”.

“I have participated in many programmes, but Vishwa Buntara Sammilana -2018 is very memorable for me. In the least time, the Sammilana was conducted in a meaningful manner. I have never seen such a big event conducted so well”.

“Due to my father’s illness, I have not acted in any Hindi cinema from last four years. After four years of break, I have started acting again in a Kannada Movie, there are many more movies to be screened. I have come back to act in movies and I hope people will support me again”.

“There are reports that many children are committing suicide due to depression and a lot of stress. In any family, if children are not getting support from their parents they may get into depression. The Bunt community has self-confidence and has been achieving in all fields. Many years ago people from the Bunt community moved to Mumbai and faced many challenges there and succeed in their business,” he said.

Rakshith Shetty, Rishab Shetty, Rajesh Shetty, Shine Shetty, Deelip Shetty, Aradhya Shetty, Prathika Shetty, Raghavendra Rai, Daya Shetty, Sandeep Shetty, Rakshith Shetty Kundapur, Manju Rai, Vijaykumar Rai, Guru Kiran, Asthik, Pavithra Shetty and many other film actor and actress participated in the programme.

Prior to the Cine and Serial Artistes Sammilana, Sri Esha Vitaladas Swamiji of Kemaru Math felicitated the sponsors and said, “The Bunt community is known for its broad minded nature. Though Tulu had its own cultural framework today culture has transcended all barriers”.

He also gave a call to the youth inclining towards western practices to be Indian at heart. He opined that while there is no harm in liking and adopting western culture, it is equally important to preserve and foster the rich Indian culture and tradition.
