Mangaluru: “I will be contesting the forthcoming Assembly Elections from Rajarajeshwari Constituency. I will not distribute water or sarees. I will not campaign for the elections going house to house. People know my work and they will vote for me. I will win the forthcoming elections and I will become the CM. Mark my words, I will be the prime minister of India one day. I am Modi’s competitor”, said the Indian producer, screenwriter, lyricist and playback singer Huccha Venkat in a press meet held at the Press Club Urwa here on April 11.

Addressing the mediapersons Huccha Venkat said, “If I will be elected MLA, I will be the CM of Karnataka and later the Prime Minister of India. If I become the Prime minister I will change the system of this country in five days. For me every citizen of this country is equal and I will treat everyone equally without discrimination of caste, creed, and religion. If I will be elected as MLA or CM, I will work for the welfare of the people since my salary is paid by the people. I will not beg for votes but with my popularity and capacity, I will win the elections.”

Huccha Venkat further said, “In the forthcoming elections I will contest as an Independent candidate and my symbol for the elections will be announced soon. On April 17, my nomination to contest from the Rajarajeshwari Constituency will be filed. If I win the elections I will be happy, if I lose, it is a loss for the people. People feel happy when candidates distribute Sarees, water or liquor but they should remember that gifts will not last forever, if people chose the wrong candidate, they will have to suffer for five years.”

When asked if by chance he becomes the CM or PM would he decrease the price of Petrol and Diesel, Huccha Venkat said, “If I will become the Prime minister I will provide safety for women, rapists will be hanged, Saree and Salwar’s will become the dress code. If any girl wants to wear other dress they can wear it at home and not outside.”
