ICYM Kolalgiri Host Kallianpur and Udupi Deanery Level Inter Parish Youth fest “YUVIESTA 2.0
Udupi: To provide a platform for budding talents and to recognise the various talents of the Youths ICYM Unit of Sacred Heart Church, Kolalgiri organised a Kallianpur and Udupi Deanery level Inter parish Youth fest “YUVIESTA 2.0 on Sunday.
Rev Fr Joseph Machado, Parish Priest Sacred Heart church Kolagiri was the President of the YUVIESTA – 2. O Youth Fest. A formal inauguration function was held before the competition. Addressing the gathering, Fr Joseph Machado said, “Youths are the strong pillars of present and future catholic church”. We have abundant resources and talents in our Kallianpur and Udupi Deanery and he wished the ICYM Kolalgiri unit to organize such a grand event by organizing this event the ICYM Kolalgiri has made to bring all youths together under one tree and I hope this will continue forever and wished good luck to all the participants.
Mr Ashwin Roche, Parish Council Vice President, Secretary Mr Roshan Dsouza, Coordinator of 20 Commission Mrs Queeny Mary Dsouza l, Superior of Kristha Jyothi Convent Sr Laveena, Mr Glanish President ICYM Udupi Deanery, Royton Dsouza President ICYM kolalgiri unit and Silvia Dsouza Secretary ICYM Kolalagiri unit, were present on the occasion.

Royton Dsouza President ICYM Kolalgiri unit, welcomed the gathering. Silvia Dsouza, secretary ICYM Kolalgiri unit rendered the Vote of thanks and more than 250 youths (A total of 13 parishes) were present during the inauguration.
There were a total of 11 competitions Cooking without Fire, Quiz, Fashion show, Face painting, Logo Rangoli competition, Dumb charades, Reels, Photography, Duet singing, and Group Dance were organised by ICYM Kolalgiri
Mr Dixon Wayne Rodrigues and Ms Leona Alison Dsouza were judges for the Cultural competition, Mr. Jeevan and Mrs. Seema Bhaskar were the Judges for the Face painting and Logo Rangoli competition, Mr Inesha Miranda and Mrs Laveena Fernandes were the Judges for Cooking without Fire competition,
Fr Larry Pinto, Assistant Parish Priest of St Lawrence Minor Basilica, Karkal-Attur was the Quiz Master for the Bible Quiz Competition
