Ideal Ice Cream, SDM & Rotary organizes ‘Kalyuga’- a Quiz Contest for Corporates
Mangaluru: SDM College of Business Management Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangaluru hosted a Mega event SARVASHRESTH 2019 “Quiz For Corporates” to mark the 10th Edition of Shreshta- A National Level Inter Collegiate PG Management Fest on the 12th of March, 2019 in association with Rotary Club of Mangalore, SDM Rotaract Club and conducted by Mangalore Quizzing Foundation. The Event was inaugurated by Dr. Annappa Kamath, the founder president of Mangalore Quizzing Foundation and Dr. Vishwas K Pai, the Secretary of Mangalore Quizzing Foundation and Co-founder of Assure PG Entrance Coaching Centre. Dr. M. Vasanth Pai, President of Rotary Club of Mangalore and Rtn. Vinod D’Souza, the Chairman of the Rotaract Committee of Rotary Club of Mangalore, were present on the occasion. Corporates from various industries participated in the event.
A total of seven teams took part. The first place with Rs.15,000 cash prize and trophy was bagged by Dr.Anil Shetty and Dr. Berton Monteiro from Father Muller Medical College Hospital and second place with a cash prize of Rs.10,000 and trophy was secured by Dr.Vinay P.G. and Dr. Ancel Crasta also from Father Muller Medical College Hospital. Prizes were given away by Mukund Kamath, the Managing Partner of Ideal Ice cream. Dr. Anappa Kamath and Dr. Vishwas Pai President & Secretary of Mangalore Quizzing Foundation were the Quiz masters.
The event was sponsored by Ideals Ice-cream Parlour, Mangalore. Director Dr. Seema S. Shenoy gave the presidential remarks. Mrs. Deepa Nayak P., Asst. Professor and Student coordinators of Corporate Quiz. Santosh S. Patel and Yash Sharma coordinated the program. The organizing committee members Dr. Jomon Lonappan and Dr. Harshitha K were present on the occasion. Ms. Leona compered the program.
