Ideal Ice Cream Sponsored ‘SHRESHTA 2020’ a Natl Level Management Fest held at SDMPG

 Mangaluru: In pursuit of enhancing the organizing skills of the young management professionals at our institute, SDM PG Centre hosted a National Level Inter Collegiate Management Fest `Shreshta’. `Shreshta’ in Sanskrit means “The Ultimate” and it is a pride that this management fest has reached its 11th edition this year. “Shreshta-2020” has chosen the theme `Inizia’ with 11 management events such as Human Resource, Marketing, Business Quiz, Finance, Best Manager, Best Management Team along with photography and Cultural to be hosted on 10th & 11th March, 2020. Premier B-Schools from across the country will compete with each other for this prestigious trophy.

This year to mark its 11th year, under Shreshta 2020, we have organized an additional Mega event Quiz For UG students named “Sarvashreshta” on the 10th of March, 2020 and also as part of world Rotaract week being celebrated from 9th to 15th of March, in association with Rotary Club of Mangalore and SDM Rotaract Club. Rotarian Jathin Attavar President of Rotary Club of Mangaluru inaugurated the competition. Quiz Master Asst. Governor Rtn..Sumith S.Rao and Sorabh Nahata conducted this quiz in the most innovative way by including online quiz as the first round. It was a novel KAHOOT APP BASED QUIZ. 25 teams have participated in this quiz Six teams were selected for the finals and First place with a cash prize Rs.10,000 was bagged by Alva’s College, Moodabidri and Second place with a cash prize of Rs.5000 was bagged by MGM College, Udupi.

Director Dr. Seema S.Shenoy, Rotaract Chairman Rotarian Vinod D’Souza , Faculty Co-Ordinator Dr. Harshitha K., Organising Committee members Ms. Deepa Nayak P. and Ms. Ramya Shetty along with student Co-Ordinators Ms. Varshitha and Ms. Chaitra were present on the occasion. The Prize distribution ceremony was held soon after the event. All the above dignatories along with the Quiz masters graced the event. Ideals Ice cream was one of the main sponsors of the event.
