If Hindu Leaders are arrested VHP will Hold Massive Protest – Gopal
Mangaluru: “The Vishwa Hindu Parishad will organise a three-day Dharma Sansath which will be held from November 24 -26 in Udupi during the 5th Paryaya of Pejawar Swamiji. More than 2000 Swamijis will take part in the Historic Dharma Sansath. Issues such as Protecting the Cows, Conversion and the Construction of Sri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya will be discussed during the Dharma Sansath,” said the Zonal Organising Secretary Gopal in a press meet held at the VHP office, Kadri here on July 14.
Addressing the mediapersons Gopal said, “Three days ago there was an attack on the Pilgrims at Amarnath which we strongly condemn. Despite the attack, the pilgrims continued their pilgrimage without any fear. We request the Union government to hand over the Amarnath pilgrimage charge to the Indian Army.”
Gopal further said, “In the district, Muslim communal forces are attacking the Hindu youth. Recently RSS worker Sharath was murdered but so far the police did not arrest anyone. Instead, cases have been filed against those who participated in the funeral procession. The police are raiding the houses of Sharan Pumpwell and Satyajit Suratkal during the night and harassing the family members. If the police will arrest any of our Hindu leaders we will hold a massive protest”, warned Gopal.
Gopal also said, “VHP demands the immediate arrest of those involved in Sharath’s murder. Cases filed against Hindu leaders should be withdrawn and the advisor to the Home Department Kempaiah chairing meetings with the police officials should be stopped.”
VHP leaders Shivanand Mendon, Gopal Kuthar, Bhujang Kulal and others were also present.
