Inaugural Board Meeting and Felicitation to Outgoing Bishop held at MCC Bank Ltd.

Mangaluru: Inaugural Board Meeting of the newly elected Board of Directors of M.C.C Bank Ltd, was held at the Administrative Office of the Bank, Mangalore, on 05.09.2018 at 4:30 pm. The outgoing Bishop of Mangalore, Dr Aloysius Paul D’souza, conducted the prayer service and blessed the newly elected Chairman, Vice Chairman, directors and staff of the Bank.

The Chairman, Anil Lobo in his introductory speech, welcomed the Bishop and expressed his gratitude for the blessings, throughout his life, during various Parish Level and Diocesan level ventures. He was confident that, he would succeed as Chairman of MCC Bank, with the blessings and guidance of the Bishop.

Joseph Anil Patrao, the newly elected Director of the Bank, praised and applauded the Bishop for his love and selfless service to the Mangalore Diocese for the last 23 years and wished him a happy and fruitful retired life. He also opined that the new management would always require, the blessings, suggestions and corrections from the Bishop, for the progress and betterment of MCC Bank.

Sunil Menezes, General Manager of the Bank, read the “Letter of Honour” to the Bishop.

The Chairman, Vice Chairman, all the Directors, Managers of all the 16 Branches of the Bank, honoured and felicitated the Bishop, for his non-tiring and affectionate service to the Diocese of Mangalore in general and to M.C.C Bank in particular.

The Bishop in his speech thanked the “MCC Bank family” for the felicitation and expressed his love and affection towards the Bank, as it is the only Bank of our Community. He called upon the New Chairman, Vice Chairman and the Directors, to work in unity and take the Bank to its new heights. He emphasised that the selfless service of every individual; may it be director or staff, would always yield fruit. He instructed the staff to be more agile and to give more importance to Customer service and Customer satisfaction. He also opined that the staff should be rewarded for their work, which would encourage them to improve the bank in many folds.

The Vice Chairman, Jerald Jude D’Silva, delivered the vote of thanks and Irene Rebello, Director, compered the programme.
