Speaking to Mangalorean.com, tour guide Mr Karkera said, ” So far the tourists have been liking all the six spots on this tour, but many liked Dr. Shivaram Karanth Pilikula Nisargadhama and the Forest Department “Tee Park”at Tannirbavi beach. They spent more time at this two spots that was allotted to them. Actually the time allotted for sight-seeing at Pilikula Park was two-and-a-half hours, but none of them came back to the bus for over three hours. I don’t blame these tourists for being late, because there is lots of walking around the Pilikula Park. The Park authorities should provide an an tour vehicle where tourists don’t have to walk miles inside the park, and get tired. If the authorities arrange a mini van or so, visitors can make a visit to the Gutthu Mane, boating lake, water park and the biological park”.

“Kudlada Ponnu” (Mangalorean Girl” Monisha Rai who is now settled in Bengaluru, taking a tour on this bus along with her family members and relatives speaking to Mnagalorean.com said, ” I want to experience what my hometown has to offer. I have heard lot of good things about Kudla and its scenic beauty. I hope I will enjoy this tour and cherish the memories for lifetime, and I am happy that I accompanied by my elders who belong to this soil. My only suggestion is that KSTDC should have a sign board or a hoarding near the boarding point (near MCC) so tourists don’t have to wander in circles to find the boarding spot, like we did. Other than that I am looking forward for a good time on this sight-seeing tour. Jai Kudla!”.

A couple from Raichur who have boarded this bus tour speaking to Mangalorean.com said, ” Luckily I saw about this tour news in our local newspaper, if not we wouldn’t have known about it. We being in the North of Karnataka, we look forward to have some in a coastal city, where we and our kids can have some fun on the sunny beaches of Mangaluru. The organizers of this tour should advertise more in the North Karnataka like Hassan, Raichur, Shivamogga, Mandya etc, where people here are looking forward for fun in water, and Mangaluru beaches are the ideal destination. I only wish my kids and their friends will enjoy this tour”.
