India will not Forgive PM Modi for Demonetisation: CPIM leader P Vishwanath
Udupi: People of India will not forgive PM Modi for demonetisation as it has ruined the economic stability said CPIM leader P Vishwanath. He was speaking during the Aakrosh Diwas organised to protest against the demonetisation at the Clock Tower, here on November 28.
Demonetisation has left a deep impact on the common people. The labour class has been suffering, people are toiling hard to buy basic commodities for a living. The central government should extend the use of rupees 1000 and 500 till sufficient new currency is printed.
The millionaires including the political class are living peacefully. The loan defaulters are also happy while the common man is suffering. The black money holders should be severely punished. Instead of taking stern action on the black money holders BJP has introduced demonetisation just for publicity.
The left including CPI and CPIM have launched a nationwide agitation against the implementation of demonetisation. The government should provide relief to those who have lost their lives by standing in queues to exchange their hard-earned Rs 1000 and 500 currency notes, he added.
K V Bhat, Venkatesh Koni, Sanjeev Sherigar, Umesh Kunder and others were present.
