Any Information on Deepak Murder Accused should be Provided to Police – Minister Khader
Mangaluru: “If anyone has the information on Deepak murder case, let them provide it to the police. Now the investigation is going on and four of the accused in the murder case have been arrested, the police are now investigating the reason for the murder. The JD(S) leader has alleged that a BJP corporator is involved and that it was a supari killing. Instead of giving statements let him provide all the information to the police”, said the minister for food and civil supplies U T Khader in a press meet held at the Circuit House here on January 9.
When asked about the statement given by H D Kumaraswamy, Khader said, “When a person is killed we should forget politics and join hands to arrest the accused. If anyone has any information about the murder or the accused they should directly contact the police and provide all the information and not to talk or comment on it while the investigation is in progress. It may be a contract killing but we also need to find out who funded the accused to commit the crime”.
Khader further said, “In the Basheer murder case, police have arrested four of the accused and the investigation is in progress. In the Deepak murder case we need to nab the kingpin and those behind the murder. One should not unnecessarily create rumours. If there is any information with anyone about the culprits in the Deepak murder case, let them hand it over to the police so that it will help them in the investigations.”
When asked about the rumours that the accused who are arrested in the Basheer murder case are innocent, Khader said, “The police are investigating the case and the truth will come out soon. We should all use the social media responsibly for good causes and should not misuse it,” said Khader.
