Instead of Bringing Back Black Money from Swiss Banks, Modi Brought White Money from RBI – Khader
Mangaluru: “The BJP government led by PM Narendra Modi had assured of bringing back the black money from Swiss banks, but now the Modi government has brought white money from the RBI which is a clear sign of danger”, said former minister U T Khader in a press meet held at the DCC office, Mallikatta here on August 30.
Addressing the mediapersons U T Khader said, “The Economy of the country is in danger and many industries have closed down. Those who were working in the industries have lost their jobs and many businessmen have committed suicide. Without the proper knowledge, the Modi government took the decision of taking Rs 1.76 lakh crore from the RBI Reserve Fund which is catastrophic and has made the people of this country bow their head in shame”.
Khader further said, “The NDA government has taken Rs 1.76 from the RBI’s reserve fund. The Modi government is speaking about transparency, if the government is really transparent, let it explain why it had taken the money from the RBI. The economy of the country is in danger and investors are hesitant to invest. If the Modi government rules as they wish without any transparency, the young generation will face problems in the future”, he said.
Khader also said, “The NDA government had said that tax will be collected through GST. Black money will be brought back from Swiss banks and terrorism will end through demonetization. When the UPA government was in power, terrorists were entering only in North India but now we hear the news that the terrorists have entered South India, especially the coastal area. What is the intelligence doing? Is it not the failure of the intelligence department? questioned Khader.
“There are rumours that terrorists entered Malpe and if we ask the SP of Udupi, she says that she doesn’t have any information. Even the Mangaluru police have no information. Without the knowledge of the Police Commissioner, how can the beat police stick stickers about the presence of terrorists? We are in confusion, such information should come from the senior police officers”, said Khader.
