Internal Security of Country at Stake if Rohingya Muslims provided Shelter – Jagadish Shenava
Mangaluru: “Thousands of Rohingyas are fleeing from Myanmar and are taking shelter in our country. The Rohingyas should be deported from our country as they are a threat to the internal security of our country. In Myanmar in Rakhine State, more than 82 Hindus have been killed and many others forcibly converted to Islam which shows the cruelty of Rohingya Muslims”, said the district president of VHP Jagadish Shenava in a press meet held at the VHP office here on September 27.
Addressing the mediapersons Jagadish Shenava said, “If our country will give shelter to Rohingya Muslims, there will communal violence as well as an increase in terror activities. Many intellectuals and the SDPI leaders say that on humanitarian grounds we need to provide shelter to Rohingya Muslims but our country has not made an agreement to provide shelter to the Rohingya Muslims. Already there are 2 crore illegal immigrants from Bangladesh living in our country. Let Bangla Desh or Pakistan provide shelter to the Rohingya Muslims. We are already witnessing communal unrest in our country and if Rohingya Muslims are allowed in our country it will affect our internal security.”
Jagadish Shenava further said, “We condemn the participation of former Vice President of India Hameed Ansari taking part in the international convention organized by the PFI Women’s wing. Hameed Ansari should apologize to the people of this country for taking part in the convention organized by PFI because PFI is involved in terror activities and killing of Hindu youth.”
Shenava also said, “I appreciate the Chief Minister of Karnataka for announcing Dasara Holidays in Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu but some schools and colleges have not followed the instructions of the government. They should be served notices for not obeying the order of the government. September 29 and 30 are declared government holidays, but some schools and colleges have not given holiday on these two days. The district administration and the education department should see that September 29 and 30 are declared holidays by all educational institutions.”
