International Nurses Day Celebrated at Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing
Mangaluru: Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing organized seminar cum intercollegiate competition on 10th May 2017 at LMET auditorium, Balmatta under the guidance of Dr.Larissa Martha Sams, Principal and SNA-Advisor Mrs.Raina Menezes.
Sr Loredhana Korah was the chief guest and the resource person for the day and she stressed on nurses day theme: Nurses a voice to lead –achieving sustainable development goals. Dr Neetha Kamath, Associate professor, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences stressed on how youth can be empowered for sustainable future.Mrs Leena Dsouza, Assistant Professor LMCN showed birds eye view on nursing in current scenario.
Students from various colleges in and around Mangalore registered for the event and actively participated in various competition held through out the day. Dr.Larissa Martha Sams addressed the gathering, Miss Olin Saji welcomed the crowd and programme was compered by miss Clerita Lobo assistant Lecturer.
