Internationally renowned ‘Queen of the stage’ Beulah Ruth wins Second place in Burjuman’s Rising Stars 2019
Dubai: 16-year-old Mangalorean Beulah Ruth Pinto, won the 2nd place in Burjuman’s Rising Stars 2019 hosted Burjuman Centre, Dubai.
After a successful event last year, discovering and nurturing talents from across the United Arab Emirates, BurJuman’s Rising Stars was back from 29 August to 20 September 2019 for children aged 4 to 16 years category open for over 200 Nationalities who live in United Arab Emirates any talent and any language and got past the mega-audition among 700 participants across UAE. As many as 40 contestants could make it for the semi-finals and 24 qualified for finals in three categories- singing, dancing and “others”.
Beulah’s performances met a standing ovation from the audience, as well as judges and also some of the guest audience, got on the floor and danced passionately while she was singing. Beulah performed an English song “I am telling you” at the finals. Beulah was crowned with many titles “Queen of the Stage” , “Rock Star”, “Great Performer” ” Power House” and “Best of the Best – 2018 UAE. In competitions such as these Beulah walks down leaving the stage behind getting close to the judges and the guests entertaining them without diminishing. Her performance stunned many.
The judges were – Christopher Frostyle Trasmaño – Dubai based professional dancer, Krystel Chemali Rahi- model, Aishwarya Ajit – an Indian actress And Nyla Usha was the chief guest of the event. Nyla Usha is an Indian film actress, anchor, and radio jockey. Michael Amazona Del Mar – a model, was president at the event. Master of Ceremonies Anil Trivedi (Producer and commercial scriptwriter) was the official host of the event carried out the event delightfully.
Beulah’s achievements in recent months:
- Beulah Ruth Pinto won the 1st runner up at ‘Rising Stars Dubai 2019’. Avighna Productions organised the event on April 27, 2019, at the Children’s City Auditorium, Dubai Creek Park.
- Beulah Ruth Pinto won the first prize in ‘Arabian Music Festival’ international festival competition on April 12, 2019. The international organizing committee of ‘Z–Group’ organised the event at Dubai Creek Park Children’s City Hall.
- Beulah Ruth Pinto “The Grand Prize Winner” of ‘Dubai Music and Dance Festival 2019’. On March 22, 2019 “Dubai Music and Dance Festival 2019” hosted at Dubai Parks and Resorts-Motion Gate, Dubai.
- Beulah Ruth Pinto is known for her contribution to Al Jalila Vocal Lab – winning team of the “Middle East’s best choir 2019” on March 9, 2019, at the Dubai Opera House, Dubai.
- Beulah Ruth Pinto was the lead singer for the “Community Song” at the Eve of “UAE Peace Gathering” on February 1, 2019, at Abu Dhabi. The event was a part of the Pope Francis visit to UAE. The video of the community song went vital over 700,000 viewers. ‘UAE Peace Gathering’ aims to promote unity, tolerance and harmony amongst UAE’s residents.
- December 9, 2018, Beulah Ruth Pinto won the “Best of the Best 2018 UAE”. GEMS Education named Beulah Ruth Pinto as UAE’s ‘Best Young Singer’ in the senior category and winner of the ‘Best of the Best – 2018.”
- She was one of the lead singers at the eve of International day of tolerance on November 15, 2018, at Dubai Union House Flag.
- Beulah Ruth Pinto performed in Mariamma Varkey Award ceremony on October 11, 2018.
- On September 21, 2018, Beulah Pinto bagged the UAE’s second most talented child award in ‘Burjuman’s Rising Stars, a talent contest hosted by Burjuman Centre, Dubai, UAE. Beulah was titled as ‘Queen of the stage’ by the judges.
- She is the first Indian to be adopted by the Al Jalila Cultural Centre, a Dubai government organisation which is named after Sheikha Jelila daughter of H.H. Sheik Mohamed Al Maktoum.
- She was a lead singer for Metilda, the musical play where 9 shows were organised by GEMS group directed by Kevin Oliver (GEMS cultural director)
- Beulah sang at Global Teachers Award in 2015 and 2016, an International event where America’s former president Bill Clinton, dignitaries from around the world and Dubai ruler HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid were present.
- Beulah sang for the Sheikha Fatima Award in UAE where HH Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nayan crown prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the armed forces was the chief guest of the event.
- Beulah Pinto won the judges favourite award in Dubai Festival City “Kids Stars” talent competition in 2015.
- Beulah Ruth Pinto holds the musical grades of Trinity Guildhall Music College, London in Piano and Vocals.
