Iskcon Heritage Fest Prize distribution Ceremony
Mangaluru: Every child is gifted and talented. These hidden talents in every child when enhanced, is really appreciable, by saying these words Shri Karunya Sagara Dasa, President of ISKCON and The Akshaya Patra Foundation Mangalore inaugurated Heritage Fest, an inter-school competition prize distribution ceremony at Koragappa Kalyana Mantapa, Kudroli Temple. About 1000 students participated in this event. The program chief guest was Mr S Sathu, Deputy General Manager Corporation Bank. Shri Vasanth Shetty Ex Deputy General Manager Vijaya Bank and A J Shekar, Vice President of Fruits and Vegetable Merchants Association were the guests for the program.
Shri Nandana Acharya Dasa, Vice President of ISKCON Arya Samaj Road, Mangalore welcomed all the guest and delivered the welcome speech. Mrs Shashikala gave the vote of thanks and Mrs Paravathi was the host for the entire program.
20 different competitions, about 260 prize winners were given winning certificate and a trophy. Top 10 schools were honoured with a trophy and top best teachers who encouraged and helped the students were also given a certificate and a photo frame of Lord Krishna.
