It’s a Rally of Repentance and not Parivarthana – CM Siddaramaiah
Mangaluru: “The Parivarthana Rally organized by BJP was a flop show. It is not a Parivarthana but a repentance rally”, said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the Mangaluru International Airport on November 4.
CM Siddaramaiah was speaking to the mediapersons after landing at the Mangaluru International Airport. CM Siddaramaiah was in City to inaugurate the Indian Karate Championship 2017.
Addressing the mediapersons CM Siddaramaiah said, “BJP leaders had announced that they will gather more than 3 lakh people for the Parivarthana rally but were able to gather only 20000 people, hence the rally was a flop. The Congress will not hold any rally against the BJP’s Parivarthana Rally but we will hold public meetings.”
When asked about illegal mining of Rs 25,000 crore, Siddaramaiah said, “We will discuss on handing over the illegal mining case to SIT. The CBI has said that there is no proper evidence in the Rs 25,000 illegal mining scam. We will discuss the issue before handing it over to SIT,” he said.
District Minister In-charge Ramanath Rai, Mayor Kavitha Sanil, Mithun Rai, MLA Moideen Bava, Chief Whip Ivan D’Souza, MLA Shakuntala Shetty, DC Sasikanth Senthil, Police Commissioner T R Suresh and others were also present.
