Mangaluru: A J Hospital and Research Centre added another feather in its cap by achieving the commendation certificate in the Indian Merchant Chambers – Ramakrishna Bajaj National quality awards for the year 2015.
The organization participated for the category of “Health care under the criteria for Performance Excellence”.
The Indian Merchants Chamber every year recognizes the excellent performers in various categories of business in India and abroad for the quality conscious industries where they evaluate their best practises, processes, future goals etc. The results are scrutinized by the top managers of the country and quality gurus. It is a prestigious award in the business circles.
A pre-assessment was conducted at the consensus meeting that was held at Indian Merchant Chamber premises Mumbai on 26th October 2015 where the medical director of A J Hospital and his team presented the key features, highlights of the organization and the presentation was done amidst the assessors.
The site visits of the organization were carried out by the examiners on 23rd and 24th November 2015 where the hospital was assessed for the criteria that was put forth by the panel of judges & IMCNQ jury.
The award was received by Dr Prashanth Marla, Medical Director at the “Making Quality happen conference and awards ceremony” held on 3rd & 4th March 2016 at Mumbai.
