James McAvoy’s half-brother jailed for abduction
Los Angeles, July 20 (IANS) Actor James McAvoy’s half-brother Donald McAvoy has been jailed for nine months after abducting a father-of-four.
Donald and Stephen Killen locked a person named Zahid Sattar in a car in April and drove him around for two hours while demanding 5,000 pounds in drug money they claimed was owed to them by a mutual friend, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“(Donald) McAvoy was demented. I thought I was going to die. I thought that was the end of me and they were going to kill me because they weren’t going to get the money my friend owed them,” Sattar told The Sun newspaper.
“I have nothing to do with drugs, but this has changed my life forever,” Sattar added.
Killen was jailed for 27 months at Stirling Sheriff Court for abduction, demanding money, making racist remarks and assault.
James, who has never met Donald, shares his father, James McAvoy Senior, with him.
