JD(S) President Akshith Releases List of District Committee members and Block Presidents
Mangaluru: The President of District Youth JD(S), Akshith Suvarna released the list of newly appointed office bearers for the district, constituencies and block presidents at the JD(S) office, Bendurwell here on December 14.
Addressing the mediapersons State General Secretary of JD(S) Srinath Rai said that on the instructions of the District JD(S) president Mohammed Kunhi, the youth president Akshith Suvarna has appointed 10 members for the district committee.
The district youth JD(S) committee members are:

Addressing the mediapersons Akshith Suvarna said, “To strengthen the party we will hold a bike rally from Mangaluru to Moodbidri during the first week of January. We have already strengthened the party by joining more members, at present more than 3500 members have joined JD(S) through the social media. In Moodbidri during the membership campaign, more than 70 youth joined the JD(S).”
Akshith further said, “We welcome the demonetization move by PM Modi but the system for demonetization of the currency notes was not right, it has created a lot of hardship for the poor and the middle class. After 40 days of demonetization, people still stand in the queue to withdraw their hard earned money. Since we are in the city, we get money, but the people who are in rural areas are the most affected because of demonetization. We will send a memorandum to the prime minister to provide proper ATM facilities in the rural areas”, he said
