JDS Supremo H D Deve Gowda visits Kollur Temple

Kundapur: The JDS Supremo and also the former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda along with his wife Chennamma visited Sri Mookambika Temple at Kollur in Udupi district on Friday, October 7.

Devegowda arrived by helicopter to Areshiroor and later traveled by road from Areshiroor to Kollur. The former Prime Minister and his family members were received by the Temple Administration.

H D Deve Gowda and his family members offered Puja to Goddess Mookambika. Deve Gowda performed Chandika homa along with his family members. Later he went to Mysuru.

Speaking to the media persons Deve Gowda said that the strength of regional parties could not be underestimated, only the regional parties can do justice to the people. I will fight till my end to build the party across the state. Reacting about the surgical strike Gowda said that in my tenure there were no surgical strikes or operations. Such operations should be kept confidential because of national security reasons. The government should think of the nation’s security first before giving such statements.

When asked about his grandson’s movie which was released yesterday, Deve Gowda said, The movie Jaguar is a family entertaining movie. The movie was released just Yesterday, I have seen the movie for a few minutes only. The movie will surely win the hearts of the people of the state, he added.

JDS leader Sbaladi Manjayya Shetty, Shrikanth Adiga, Mansoor Ibrahim, Dakshath Shetty, Shalini Shetty Kenchanoor and others were present.

“….arrived by helicopter” says report referring to an old politician who deserves the full credit for dragging state politics to unimaginable levels of corruption in the name of ‘regional politics’. This guy and his family travel in helicopter when dakshina kannada is getting ready for another round of shiraady ghaati closure!!! If you don’t see the connection between his wealth and nonexistent infrastructure, you are one of those illiterates who doesn’t deserve any respect. Now, this guy’s grandson is into kannada movies?
