Kollur: An alarming incident of property damage transpired on February 7th at approximately 9 PM, when a jeep was recklessly driven across the playground of Kollur Sri Mookambika High School. The driver, identified as Kaushik, reportedly engaged in dangerous high-speed wheeling, leading to significant damage to the school’s facilities.

Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with the jeep tearing across the playground, resulting in the destruction of the cement slabs that cover the drainage system and compromising the integrity of the athletic track. Preliminary assessments of the damage estimate the total cost to be around Rs 50,000.

Upon discovering the extent of the harm done to school property, Nagaraj, the headteacher of Kollur Sri Mookambika High School, promptly filed a complaint with local authorities. In response, a case has been officially registered at the Kollur police station, where investigations are ongoing.
