Jet Airways Introduces Daily Service between Mangaluru-Sharjah
Mangaluru: Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, will operate new daily service between Mangaluru and Sharjah effective August 07, 2016. The addition of this new service will bolster Jet Airways offering to the Gulf market, further strengthening the airline’s growing network and significantly enhance connectivity for guests.
The inaugural function of the Jet Airways flight between Mangaluru and Sharjah was held at the Mangaluru International Airport on August 7, 2016. The inaugural function was attended by Dr Nitte Vinay Hegde, Chancellor, Nitte University, Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament – Dakshina Kannada Constituency, Ramanath Rai , Minister for Forest, Environment & Ecology – Karnataka, U T Khader, Minister for Food & Civil Supplies – Karnataka, J T Radhakrishna, Airport Director, Mangaluru International Airport and U Harish Shenoy, General Manager-South India, Jet Airways (I) Limited. With the addition of Sharjah, Jet Airways will connect Mangaluru with three cities in Gulf. Jet Airways currently operates daily flights from Mangaluru to Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Additionally, with a large number of Indians travelling from Mangaluru to Gulf, Jet Airways has expanded the connectivity options from various cities across India to Gulf. Likewise, inbound guests from Sharjah would be able to enjoy domestic connections over Mangaluru.
Jet Airways 9W 504 will depart Mangaluru at 0930 hrs and arrive into Sharjah at 1145 hrs (local time). The return flight Jet Airways 9W 503 will depart from Sharjah at 1245 hrs (local time) and arrive into Mangaluru at 1755 hrs.

The launch of additional daily services strengthens Jet Airways’ already extensive network of routes serving the region and cements its place as the largest operator connecting India and the Gulf.
The airline will deploy Boeing 737-800 Next Generation (NG) aircraft on this route, where Premiere and Economy guests may enjoy the airline’s famed in-flight service, its award-winning In-flight Entertainment (IFE) programme and the airline’s hallmark concept of hospitality.
Jet Airways currently operates 11 daily direct flights from India each to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Dear Jet CEO, please start Dammam-Mangalore direct flight (not Dammam-mum-Mlr transit) to stop the horrible and useless service of air India express. Which says budgeted flight but price is like Lufthansa airways…no proper meal serve…its a shame to travel this flight as a NRI (only advantage direct to Mangalore to save the time). Dear Govt. official please stop the service of Air India express of Dammam-Mangalore if you cannot provide an alternative like Saudia, or jet or any other private airlines to provide better and quality service to the people who spend hard earned money buy costly ticket with poor… Read more »
