Chennai, Jan 15 (IANS) Actor Jiiva-starrer Tamil romantic-comedy “Kavalai Vendam”, which also features National Award winning actor Bobby Simhaa in a parallel lead, will finally go on the floors from January 18 in Coonoor.
“This is a film on human emotions. As how romance and relationships play a major part in life, breakups also play a major part. ‘Kavalai Vendam’ reveals the unsaid parts of relationships and breakups,” director Deekay said in a statement.
The film also features Kajal Aggarwal, Sunaina, Shruti Ramakrishna and RJ Balaji in important roles.
Malayalam film ‘Ottaal’ selected for Berlinale 2016
National Award winning Malayalam film “Ottaal” has been selected in competition for the Generation Kplus section at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival February 11-21.
Jayaraj-directed “Ottaal”, an adaptation of a short story by Russian writer Anton Chekhov, is part of 13 films in the category that will compete for the Crystal Bear and jury prizes.
Part of the children and youth films section, “Ottaal” will compete with films such as “Little Men”, “Blue Bicycle”, “Rara” and “The World of Us” among others.
“Ottaal” has already been screened at the Mumbai Film Festival and the International Film Festival of Kerala.
