Jilted Lover Stabs Girl to death, Attempts Suicide
Sullia: A jilted lover stabbed a student to death in Sullia here on February 20.
The deceased has been identified as Akshatha from Sullia.
According to police on February 20, at around 4:30 pm, Karthik a College student stabbed Akshatha who was also studying in the same college to death.
After stabbing Akshatha, Karthik tried to commit suicide by slitting his wrist. The police reached the spot on time and took Karthik into custody. Karthik was rushed to the hospital and is not out of danger. It is learnt that love failure is the reason behind the assault on the girl.
Sullia police are investigating the case.
