Jolie talks to her late mother in mind
Los Angeles, May 30 (IANS) Actress Angelina Jolie, who is in the midst of a divorce from actor Brad Pitt, says she “would give anything” to have her late mother Marcheline Bertrand by her side during this time. Jolie says she talks to her in her mind.
Jolie announced her split from Pitt in September 2016. She says now it is difficult for her to navigate life without her mother, who passed away in 2007 from cancer at the age of 56, reports dailymail.co.uk.
“I would give anything for her to be with me at this time. I’ve needed her,” Jolie told Elle France magazine.
“I talk to her often in my mind and try to think what she might say and how she might guide me,” she added.
Jolie is sad that her mother missed out on being a grandmother to her six children — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne.
“She would have thrived as a grandmother. I know how much she would have contributed to their lives and I am sad they will miss out on that,” she said.
