Los Angeles, May 15 (IANS) Singer-songwriter Jordin Sparks has confirmed she is dating rapper Sage the Gemini and says the new couple are “having fun”.
Sparks, 25, has been sharing photographs of herself and the rapper since early April, but she finally opened up exclusively to people.com on Thursday about her new boyfriend.
“I think they’re pretty obvious… We’re having fun. He’s a really good guy, and the pictures speak for themselves… I don’t just kiss people,” said Sparks.
The “No air” singer called the rapper “my #baemaxx” in one of her captions.
Bae is a term of endearment meaning “before anyone else”.
Talking about the story behind the nickname given to the rapper, Sparks said: “Well, you know, ‘Big Hero 6’, the big guy was (named) Baymax. We watched that two weeks ago … and I was like, ‘I love the name Baymax.'”
“(Sage) was like, ‘I’m your bae to the max,’ and I was like, ‘That’s your nickname,'” she added.
