Jude Law misses living in Rome
London, Oct 10 (IANS) Actor Jude Law, who spent nine months living in Rome last year, says he is missing the capital of Italy greatly.
The 43-year-old actor, who was born in Lewisham in London, had a memorable time living in Rome and getting to know its people, reported femalefirst.co.uk.
“I was happy, inspired, I enjoyed every single moment (of living in Rome). I was in an apartment close to the Campidoglio, I went running everyday around the Circus Maximus. I saw the city at 5 a.m., with just street cleaners,” Jude said.
He added: “I had coffee in bars with truck drivers. I adored the rhythm of Rome, busy but less agitated than London, cosmopolitan but less anxious than New York. It’s easy to visit and every walk is a miracle. You are walking with someone and at a certain point, here it is the Trevi Fountain, oh my God, that’s the Vatican. Amazing. I miss that.”
The actor spoke about his love for Rome in an interview with Italy’s Vanity Fair magazine.
