Kadri Police Hold Route March from Kulshekar to Ensure Safety and Security
Mangaluru: As the elections are nearing the police dep[artment is all set to provide safety and security to the people in their respective jurisdiction. As precautionary measures, the Mangaluru East police held a route march from Kulshekar to Mallikatta on March 27.
The route march started from Kulshekar being identified as a sensitive area culminated at Mallikatta.
The commandant Central Paramilitary Force (CPMF) Maruti Nayak and Inspector of Kadri Police station Mahesh M led the march. From Kulshekar 70 police personnel including the Central Paramilitary Force (CPMF) platoons marched to Mallikatta to instill confidence among the people.
Speaking to mangalorean.com Inspector of Kadri Police Station Mahesh said, “Today at 9:00 am we started our route march from Kulshekar along with the Central Paramilitary Force. As Kulshekar is identified as a sensitive area we started the route march from there to instill confidence among the people. Through this route march we want to convey the message to the people of this area that we the police are always there to provide safety and security.”
Inspector Mahesh further said, “The route march will continue in other areas too. Today afternoon the route march will be held in the Barke station limits.”
The route march will continue in other areas in the district to ensure security during the Lok Sabha election process and to see that the elections will be held smoothly. The Police Commissionerate under the able leadership of Police commissioner Sandeep Patil has taken all the necessary measures in this regard.
Kadri PSI Maruti and other police personnel were also present.
