Kannada book ‘Daari Tappisu Devare’ released in Kuwait
Kuwait: Manjunatha Kamath, a journalism lecturer at MGM College, Udupi is an enthusiastic writer and avid traveller. He has travelled far and wide across the countryside in India and has written extensively about his travelling experiences. The same has been brought out as a book in Kannada titled “Daari Tappisu Devare!”. The office bearers of Kuwait Kannada Koota, Sahitya Sampada Kuwait, Bharatiya Pravasi Parishad and G.S.B Sabha were greatly impressed about his book and they decided to jointly release it in Kuwait.
The book was recently released in a special way in front of the world famous Kuwait Towers. Speaking on the occasion Dr Azad I.S of Sahitya Sampada praised the author for effectively picturising the coastal Karnataka in words. “The reading of this book gives a pleasant travelling experience and such works will boost the travel literature” he added.
Manjeshwara Mohandas Kamath of G.S.B Sabha said that “we are all proud to release a Kannada book on Arab land. And we hope that Kannada literature will actively disseminate across the globe”.
Raj Bhandari of the Bharatiya Pravasi Parishad opined that “Travelling is not a purposeless roaming. It is a purposeful, educative and refreshing experience. Every traveller will have enlightening stories about humanity”.
