Kannada Film Chitta Chanchala to Hit Silver Screens soon

Udupi: The Kannada film ‘Chitta Chanchala’ will shortly hit the silver screens.

Speaking at the press meet on Monday, March 20, film director YKU Sunder Yetinatti said, “It was my childhood dream of making a cinema. The film is a rural entertainer with the backdrop of Dakshina Kannada culture. The film has been shot in various spots of Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Dakshina Kannada and Shivamogga district as the film also features the culture of the Costal district like the Nema, Kola etc. The film is a mix of suspense, comedy, Horror and Love.

Producer Karunakar from Shiriyara, Kundapur Taluk and Sharath Kumar both hoteliers are now into cinema. Rajesh Raj an orchestra singer has given the music for four songs. While Karunakar is the producer the film is co-produced by Sharath Kumar and Raghavendra Nayak. Chakravarthy cranks the camera, Rajesh Raj is the music composer and Satish Babu provides the background music. The film features debutant actors Divam Kunder, Driti Sai, Prateeka, Chitra Shenoy and Prakash Heggodu. The film is a rural entertainer with the backdrop of Dakshina Kannada culture. Prateeka Saroy, the heroine of the film is a student of St Aloysius College. Mangaluru. Driti Sai plays the second lead in the film.

The movie has been produced at an approximate cost of Rs 2 crore and will be released during the First week of April across the state. The film has already got the censor clearance a month ago. The trailer of the movie has been uploaded on youtube and viewed by over 2 lakh viewers in two weeks, he added.

Films hero Divam Kunder, Producer Karunakar, Sharath Kumar and others were present.
