Kannada Movie Panchatantra Trailer Released at Big Cinemas
Mangaluru: The trailer of Kannada Movie Panchatantra was launched at the Big Cinemas at Bharat Mall here on February 19.
Prior to the launch, the director of the movie Yograj Bhat said, “Panchatantra is a fun-filled film in which the main plot revolves around the antics of the young generation and the old. The film has a love story that brings out the desires and emotions of the present generation fast-paced lovers. Apart from being high on romance, drama and wickedly humorous, the core of the film has a land dispute that turns out into a competition between the two parties.”
Yograj further said, “Its genre could be categorized into a sports film also because it has the eminence of being India’s biggest car race ever shot. The film summarizes the whole irony of the old folk story rabbit and the tortoise in a fun-filled quarrel between the old and the young. Finally in the rabbit and Tortoise story, the slow and steady wins the race.
Panchatantra is a sports action movie which focuses on the life of the present generation who are always adopted to MTV life and the elderly people who are still addicted to Doordarshan. I am very happy that Sonal Monteiro and Deepak Shetty both from the Coastal district are playing the lead roles in the movie. During the 3rd or 4th week of March, the movie will be released. This is a good movie and I urge everyone to watch the movie and support us.”
Speaking on the occasion, heroine Sonal Montiero said, “This is my first Kannada movie and I am very much happy that the trailer has been launched in Mangaluru. This is a great movie and Yograj sir has supported us a lot. It was a very good experience to work with Yograj sir. I enjoyed every bit during the film shoot. For the first time in Indian cinema, I have seen a movie having a car race. I urge all Mangaloreans to watch this movie with their families and support us.”
The movie has been produced by Hariprasad Jayanna and Hemanth Paradkar, Maasti and Kantharaj have written the story, Music by V Harikrishna, Cinematographer Sugnaan, Choreography by Imran Sardhariya, Stunts by Vinod and Jolly Bastin and edited by Madhu Tumbakere.
Vihan has played the lead role as Karthik, Sonal Monteiro has also played the lead role as Sahitya, Akshara as Artha, Rangayana Raghu as Rangappa, Bala Rajawadi as Venu and Deepak as Bond. The movie has been shot in Bengaluru, Mysuru and Mandya.
