Udupi: Two temple priests were hospitalized after an assault by the members of Sangh Parivar in Udupi near Karje on Thursday, December 6.

The injured have been identified as Ramakrishna Adiga and Srikanth Adiga, priests of Mahalingeshwara Temple Karje.

The accused have been identified as Sudhakar, Suresh Shetty, Balakrishna Shetty and 20 others.

In the complaint, the family members of the priests alleged that BJP leaders Sudhakar, Suresh, Balakrishna along with 20 members barged into the Temple and assaulted Ramakrishna Adiga and Srikanth Adiga with weapons.
