Karkala Woman Head Constable Dies of bleeding after Delivery
Karkala: A woman head constable lost her life on Thursday, March 5 due to excessive bleeding during the time of delivery.
The deceased has been identified as Shyamala (37) wife of Giridhar. She was the head constable of Karkala Town Police Station.
According to sources on March 3, Shyamala was admitted to the Rotary Hospital Karkala where she gave birth to a child in the afternoon. During the time of delivery she suffered from severe bleeding. She was then shifted to the Manipal hospital where she breathed her last without responding to treatment
