Karnataka II PU results announced, Udupi first, Dakshina Kannada district secures second place

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has released the results for the II PU (Pre-University) examinations for the academic year 2024-25. The results, announced earlier today, reveal Udupi district as the top performer, securing the first position in overall performance. Dakshina Kannada district followed closely, securing the second position statewide.

The results also highlighted significant regional disparities, with Yadgir district recording the lowest pass percentage at 48.45%. A total of 637,805 students appeared for the examinations across the state. Of these, 468,439 students successfully passed, leading to an overall pass percentage of 73.45%.

The individual subject-wise performance showcased varying levels of success. The science stream achieved the highest pass percentage at 82.54%, followed by the commerce stream at 76.07%. The arts stream recorded a pass percentage of 53.29%.

Exceptional individual performances were also noted across the different streams. Amulya Kamath of Expert PU College, Dakshina Kannada, topped the science stream. In the commerce stream, Deepashree from Canara PU College, also in Dakshina Kannada, achieved the first rank with an impressive score of 599 out of 600. Sanjana Bai, a student of Indu PU College in Ballari district, secured the top position in the arts stream, scoring 597 out of 600.

The KSEEB encourages students to access their results through the official board website and respective college portals. Details regarding revaluation and supplementary examinations will be announced shortly.
