Karnataka Sangha Muscat to Hold Yugaadi Celebrations on April 28
Oman: The Karnataka wing of Indian social club, Muscat plays an important role when it comes to providing the stage for Kannada cultural activities in this desert city of Muscat. In a recently held AGM of the wing new committee took charge under the leadership of Karunakar Rao.
The first programme of the new committee, “Yugaadi Sambhrama”, a programme to celebrate the new year is being planned on 28 April 2017 at the Al Maasa Hall in Ruwi, Muscat. Cultural programmes like Yakshagaana, Folk dances, classical dance performances beginning with singing the state Anthem of Karnataka- are some of the main attractions of the programme. All items will be performed by enthusiastic and talented members of the Karnataka Wing. To conclude these festivities in style, traditional feast on banana leaf is being organised.
All members of the wing are expected to attend the much awaited cultural gala.
