Kaup Police Raid Illegal Slaughterhouse, Rescue 10 Cattle
Udupi: The Kaup Police have raided an illegal slaughterhouse in Mallar and rescued 10 cattle on July 7.
According to PSI Kaup Rajshekar B Saganoor, the raid was conducted on the information of beat police that cows were slaughtered at the illegal slaughterhouse in Mallar. During the raid, the police seized 10 cattle worth Rs 31000, a bike, and other items. Eight persons managed to escape from the slaughterhouse when the police raided the place on a tip-off.
The raid was led by Rajshekar B Saganoor PSI Kaup, Ravindra, Arun, Manjunath Ananda, Sandesh Parashuram, and other police personnel.
A case has been registered in the Kaup Police Station.
