Kaup Police Raid illegal Slaughterhouse, rescue Three Calves
Udupi: The Kaup police on Sunday raided an illegal slaughterhouse operating on a private land at Mooluru and rescued 3 calves in the operation.
After getting an anonymous call, Kaup PSI Nithyananda Gowda along with other police rushed to the spot and raided the illegal slaughterhouse operated by Abdul Khadar Mooluru. During the raid, two of the accused fled from the spot.
The police team rescued 3 calves in the operation and seized Meat, Tools, weighing scale and other items.
The rescued calves were handed over to Neelavara Go-shala.
Kaup Police have registered the case and investigation is on.
