Kaup Police rescue 60 cattle transported illegally without documents to Gaushala

Udupi: The Kaup Police have rescued more than 60 cattle that were being transported to a Gaushala without proper documents at Kaup on Wednesday, August 7.

As per the primary information, the cattle were bought from Kerala and were being transported to Shankerpura. The Hindu Outfit members informed the Kaup Police that cattle were being transported without documents to Shankerpura Gaushala.

Based on the information, Kaup police station sub-inspector along with his team stopped three heavy trucks and rescued more than 60 cattle being transported in it. Two calves in the trucks were found dead.

Later hundreds of Hindu Activists gathered at the Kaup Police Station.

A case in this regard has been registered in the Kaup police station.
