Chennai, Nov 30 (IANS) Actor Sundeep Kishan will star in the yet-untitled Telugu remake of Malayalam hit “Neram”, which is likely to feature Keerthy Suresh in the lead role.
“The makers have been in talks with Keerthy Suresh and Ashna Zaveri. Keerthy is most likely to get the role, which was originally played by Nazriya,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.
In an official statement, the makers confirmed that the remake, which will be helmed by Anil Kanneganti, will officially go on floors on December 12.
The film will be produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri of Pixel Dreams India and released by Anil Sunkara.
“Neram”, which captures events in the life of its protagonist in a day, featured Nivin Pauly in the lead.
