Kerala Govt Should Take Measures to Provide Entry to all Women in Sabarimala Temple – Janardhan Poojary
Mangaluru: “The Kerala Government led by Pinarayi Vijayan should take all measures to provide entry to Sabarimala temple to all the women and not play politics in this issue”, said the former minister Janardhan Poojary in a press meet held at Kudroli temple here on January 7.
Addressing the mediapersons Janardhan Poojary said, “Three women have already entered the Sabarimala temple. Being the Chief minister Pinarayi should take all measures to provide permission for women to enter the Sabarimala temple. Women are also God’s children. Let all the women go to Sabarimala Temple, God will surely like it. There is nothing wrong in it. Instead of objecting, the Kerala government should take necessary measures to allow all the women into the Sabarimala Temple. Swami Ayyappa did not say ‘no’ to women entering the temple.”
Poojary further said, “Those who are opposing the entry of women to Sabarimala temple are playing politics such people should be punished severely.”
