Khader should Stop Publicity Stunts and Issue Ration Cards – Kota Srinivas Poojary

Udupi: Former Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has said that the state food and civil supplies minister U T Khader has been only statements for the purpose of Publicity, he should take immediate measures to issue ration cards to the poor people.

Kota Srinivas Poojary was speaking at a protest Padayatra from Mabukal to Kundapur organised by the district BJP OBC morcha on Wednesday, August 16, against the congress led state government for failing to provide Ration cards for the poor people in the state.

Addressing the protesters Srinivas Poojary said, “The state government has been promising a dream world to the poor by announcing welfare schemes. However, it has no money to implement the schemes. The Congress-led government has even failed to provide ration cards in the district. Many of the poor still wait for the ration cards even after one year of submitting their applications. However, the Congress government led by Siddaramaiah has made the life of poor hell, by not issuing the ration cards. Unnecessary publicity for the government owing to Annabhagya scheme has in turn added woes to the already existing problems in the life of the poor. Unable to receive ration cards, many are deprived of the Anna Bhagya scheme”.

Srinivas further said, “The poor people are struggling to get the land title deeds in the district. Under 94 C and 94 cc a number of applications were submitted. The revenue minister had said during the session that within a week the problem would be solved, but even after two years, people are struggling. The government has totally failed to give justice to the poor people”.

Udupi district BJP chief Mattar Ratnakar Hegde flagged the Padayatra at the Mabukala Bus-stand. State BJP secretary Thingale Vikramarjuna Hegde, ZP president Dinakar Babu, former MP Jayaprakash Hegde, BJP leaders Kiran Kumar, Githanjali Suvarna, Babu Shetty, Yashpal Suvarna, Suprasad Shetty, Kishore Kumar, Rajesh Kaveri, Vittal Poojary, Veena Shetty, Bharathi Chandrashekar, Chandramohan and others were present.

ohhhh…..amit shah’s culprit idea during his 3 days visit to make protest every now and then to disturb the state govt. started to work. Dear Karnataka people, just show Amit shah that its not UP, Bihar or Rajasthan to play game and disturb, create chaos among people every now and then and make jungle raj, its Karnataka an educated and peace loving people’s land, NORTH’S culprit mind ideas wont work here in Karnataka.
