Los Angeles, July 7 (IANS) Singer Kimberley Walsh will have eight bridesmaids, including her former Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, at her wedding with boyfriend Justin Scott.
Walsh is inviting her former bandmates to be by her side on her big day, along with her two best friends from home, her two sisters and Scott’s sister and daughter Chloe, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“I know it’s eight, but if you break it down there’s no one who shouldn’t be there. I either have hardly any or have them all, and there are no rules are there,” she told The Sun newspaper.
Although Fernandez-Versini and Roberts will be there with her at the church, notable exceptions are their fellow Girls Aloud members Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding, who she rarely speaks to since the band ended in 2013.
She said: “I’m not really in touch with Nadine to be honest. She’s not in this country and we’d drifted apart. But I wish her well and it’s good to see that she’s managing to juggle it all.
“Sarah still texts a lot saying she’s coming round. It’s not happened yet! But she does really want to. She’s constantly texting me at the moment because I think she feels like it’s been a long time.”
