Kirik Party famed director Rishab Shetty ties knot with Pragathi Shetty
Kundapur: Kirik Party famed director Rishab Shetty and Software engineer Pragathi Shetty tied the knot in a traditional Hindu wedding at his hometown Kundapur on February 9 in front of their families, friends, leading actors and filmmakers of Karnataka.
Actor Sudeep, Rakshith Shetty, Sheetal Shetty, Yajna Shetty, Meghana Gaonkar, Rashimika Mannar Samyuktha Hegde among other celebrities attended the wedding and blessed the couple.
Pragathi hails from Mandarthi of Udupi district, she has studied at the Sahyadri College Shivamogga. Presently she is working in IBM Company, Bengaluru. Pragathi was introduced to Rishab by his sister, later family members decided and fixed their wedding.
Speaking to media persons Rishab Shetty said, “I am feeling very happy today. It is an arranged marriage. Pragathi was chosen by my parents. Pragathi Shetty works for a software company in Bengaluru. My mother has been forcing me since many years to settle down and not keep postponing marriage. Today I have fulfilled her dream. I will continue to work in the film industry and also manage my family life”.
Actor Rakshith Shetty said that Kirik Party which was released during the end of 2016 is turning out to be the biggest hit film of the season. Despite several big releases in different languages, the film is still going strong worldwide.
There were so many other awesome Movies along with Kirik Party in the list that have done fabulous business. The only advantage it had to be in the top 3 position is, the Limited budget in which this movie was made, where itself we had a difference of nearly Rs 15 Crores compared to other big Movies, he said.
