KMC Doctors attend 2nd Indo French International Forensic & Law Congress, Lyon, France held on 13th and 14th June, 2019
Mangaluru : Department of Forensic Medicine , KMC, Mangalore, MAHE,Manipal co-organized the Second Indo-French International Forensic and Medical Law Congress” at Lyon ,France from June 13th to June 14th 2019, which was jointly organized by University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and University Jean Moulin ,Lyon III ,France. The Theme of the congress was “Strengthening Forensics by bridging law and Forensic Medicine – A path forward. This international joint congress was planned after the success of 1st Indo French congress held in KMC, Mangalore on 23rd and 24th November 2017.
The two days scientific programme brings together other sub themes like Forensic Pathology, embalming, odontology, anthropology, archeology, Obstetrics, DNA fingerprinting, Traumatology, law in relation to medical practice as per Indian and French legal stands . The conference was grand success with more than 100 delegates attended from most of the European world. The faculty attended the congress received travel grant of 1500 Euros each to attend the congress.
The delegates are indebted to the administrators of college, MAHE University for facilitating to co-organize this congress and for sharing the scientific deliberations in the congress.
